The Extraordinaries Have Arrived!
Finally, finally, finally, it’s time for the superqueeroes! The Extraordinaries, the first book in the trilogy, is here! This book has been a long time in coming, and I’m so thrilled to show you what I’ve spent the last three year working on.
I hope you listen to the trailer above. Michael Lesley is dynamic as a narrator, but none more so than he is in The Extraordinaries. I’m so very fortunate that he came along with me on this this crazy trip. I really do have the best narrators, and Michael believes in my work, which is something that doesn’t always happen. Finding an excellent narrator can be difficult, and there’s a comfort in knowing I can trust him fully with my words. And man, is that trust well-placed, because this might be my favorite narration he’s done of my books.
Enough about Michael. His ego is already out of control.
Thank you for this moment. I hope you enjoy the journey. Nick and Seth, Jazz and Gibby, all of them have been part of me for so long, and they’re now out in the world. It’s a scary prospect, but one I’ve prepared for. I love them fiercely, and I can’t wait for you to see what happens when a teenage goofball tries to make himself extraordinary.
(And yes, UK readers, I know that the book isn’t out for you until Thursday, but fear not! You will believe a boy can…well, not fly, because that’s fuckin ridiculous. But he’ll try his damndest (while be super awkward about it), and I wouldn’t have it any other way.)
Let’s gooooo!
